Hand Me Lip Stick and I'll Draw A Rainbow

Honestly, I've completely forgotten about prom until I saw these frantic Facebook statuses saying how "I'm not ready for the big night!" or how "I've got the perfect dress!".

:\

If you still don't know, I'm not going to my school's prom. I never really saw the point. You dress up, pay for a ticket to eat horrible food and watch amateur performances. Not to mention, see some people you've despised your whole high school life.

I don't have to pay so people can see me dress up for a night and parade the hall. I've done enough of that at meaningful events and charity dinners.

And anyway, I would much rather use that RM150(actually, RM150++ if you want to add the dresses and everything) to buy myself and my family a nice dinner, or add the money to my laptop fund :P

But anyhooo, kudos to this year's prom committee for taking up a responsibility that wasn't theirs in the first place. You guys have fun! I'm sure by this time tomorrow, Facebook will be AMBUSHED with millions of photos from the night.

I, on the other hand will be attending a talk given by the amazing Ajahn Brahm.

Hmmm, is it disrespectful to post a picture of him on my blog? I'm sorry if it is!!

But he really is awesome! His talks are humorous and he can really get the message across to the audience. Tonight's topic is "When Bad Things Happen to Good People", and I'm a good person! XD

Cheers, y'all.
